Every day we publish a short ladder of hints for popular word puzzles such as Wordle and Connections. The first hint is a gentle nudge, the next is a clearer clue, then a hint about the letters, and finally the answer, which stays hidden until you click to reveal it. The goal is to help you finish the puzzle yourself.

How hints are made

Hints are drafted with the help of an AI model and checked automatically so that the early hints never contain the answer. Letter hints are computed directly from the answer.
